This package provides a Python 3 ported version of Python 2.7's random module. It has also been back-ported to work in Python 2.6. In Python 3, the implementation of randrange() was changed, so that even with the same seed you get different sequences in Python 2 and 3. Note that several high-level functions such as randint() and choice() use randrange().
Binary packages can be installed with the high-level tool pkgin (which can be installed with pkg_add) or pkg_add(1) (installed by default). The NetBSD packages collection is also designed to permit easy installation from source.
The pkg_admin audit command locates any installed package which has been mentioned in security advisories as having vulnerabilities.
Please note the vulnerabilities database might not be fully accurate, and not every bug is exploitable with every configuration.
