kftpupdater will transfer (recursively) the contents of a local
directory to a directory on a remote ftp server or vice versa. It only
transfers files that have been modified according to its time stamps database.
(Usually this means since the last run.)
kftpupdater will log a record of file transfers for each project
in $HOME/update.project-name.log (Although it is possible
to specify an alternate log file.)
As options kftpupdater
can ignore files matching a regular
expression and delete files and directories in the target directory
which don't occur in the source directory.
Options for each project are stored in the
kftpupdater
configuration file $HOME/update.config. (It is possible to specify
an alternative configuration file.) This file is normally edited using
the kftpupdater GUI but you can also edit it directly.
